Dr. Berg is a medical oncologist and clinical and translational researcher. Her clinical interest is in the treatment of patients with genitourinary cancers, including kidney cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer. She was the lead of the Kidney Cancer clinical trials research program at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center. Dr. Berg initially joined Loyola University Chicago in 2018 as junior faculty lead of the Genitourinary Oncology Program with a focus on translational science and clinical trials for patients with urologic cancers. Her research focuses on the development of novel therapies for patients with urologic malignancies. She has a particular interest in the design of clinical trials that utilize novel immunotherapies as well as using biomarkers discovered in patient's peripheral blood to predict immune related toxicities, especially in the older adult population. She is currently at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology.
