Stephen Schleicher, MD, MBA, is a medical oncologist and the Chief Medical Officer at Tennessee Oncology, the third largest independent oncology practice in the country with over 200 oncology providers practicing across 35 sites of care. In this role, Dr. Schleicher oversees all clinical programs and value-based care initiatives across the practice. Prior to this role, Dr. Schleicher served as Medical Director of Value-Based Care for OneOncology, a national platform for independent community oncology practices that now includes over 900 oncology providers across the US.
Dr. Schleicher received his medical training as part of the Harvard McArthur Healthcare Leadership Fellowship Program which included internal medicine training at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a fully-funded MBA from Harvard Business School, before going on to complete oncology training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
In addition to his current role, Dr. Schleicher has previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company, served as the President of the Tennessee Oncology Practice Society, and is a current board member for the Community Oncology Alliance (COA).
